Do you think it is easy to correct diction defects in a child?
I ask for a reason, because some parents seriously believe that speech therapists are just for “beauty” in kindergarten, just like psychologists. What do you think about it? Maybe someone thinks that the child will speak out on his own, without the help of a specialist? I take any accusations made against educators to heart. Anyone who has not worked in our field has no idea what difficulties we face every day and what a huge burden of responsibility lies on us. The saying “The soldier is sleeping - the service is on” does not apply to teachers.

So I decided to dig deeper and lift the veil of secrecy about some teaching professions. I think nothing characterizes any activity so successfully as the self-analysis of a professional. If speech therapists read my article, I hope they will leave their responses. Or maybe the young specialist doesn’t know how to write self-analysis, then I’ll give basic outlines. Methodological literature for speech therapists and tempting offers will come in handy.
