Grammar games for sound automation [p] card index (senior group) on the topic

Automation of the sound R is necessary so that the baby learns to pronounce it correctly in all words and sentences. That’s why this stage is called “automation of the sound r”, because as a result of the games and exercises the child will correctly speak the sound r automatically, without thinking, in any of its combinations with other sounds.

In the article you will find games, tongue twisters, pure tongue twisters, poems for automating the sound R from my game collection.

To automate the sound p, words, phrases, and sentences rich in this sound are used. If the child makes a mistake and says the sound p incorrectly (in the usual old way), then you just need to ask him to repeat the word correctly. And praise him - remind him that he has already learned to pronounce the sound r and made friends with him. At the same time, you need to remember that mistakes in pronouncing a difficult sound always happen, and this is normal. Gradually, the baby will make less and less mistakes. Remember how difficult it is for us – adults – to break the habit of an old habit. This is not easy for a child either, so he needs support.

Games and tasks to automate the sound p can only be carried out when the sound p appears in the child’s speech. Automation of the sound R is already the third stage of our games-activities with the baby on the sound R. You can read about the first two stages in the article “How to teach a child to say R? Articulatory gymnastics for the sound P" and "Games (sound P)"

An adult invites the child to play trumpeter. The child imitates how he plays the trumpet with his hands and at the same time says: rrr-ra-ra, ru-ru-ru, ro-ro-ro, ry-ry-ry. You can play a big trumpet, which sounds low and harsh. And on a small trumpet that sounds high, gentle, soft.

Next, together with your child, try to sing any simple melody of a children’s song using the syllable “ra - ra - ra” (“play it on the trumpet”). “Play the trumpet” (i.e. sing the syllable “ra-ra-ra”) your favorite song.

Play Guess the Tune. One player makes a song, “playing it on the trumpet” i.e. singing a melody without words on the syllable ra-ra-ra. Another player guesses what kind of song it is. Then switch roles. Guess the Tune is a good game to play on the go.

Additional tasks

You have already noticed that we have placed a lot of pictures on the map with the sound [P]. They can be used for additional tasks.

Automation of sound in free speech Ask your child questions during the game, encourage him to give detailed answers. - Where did Pinocchio run out from? Pinocchio ran out of the cave in the mountain. -What trees are these nearby? These are palm trees. Where do they grow? They grow in Africa. - What's that on the river? A steamboat is sailing along the river.

The child will answer you spontaneously, comment on his actions in the game and name what he sees. This will help you naturally engage in repeating the sound [P].

Physical minute There are several “active” tasks for warming up on the map. Also look at the characters that Pinocchio runs through: you can jump like a tiger, retract your head like a turtle, fly like an airplane, and so on.

The subgroup lesson “Throwing the dice” for Pinocchio and completing tasks can be done in turns; one child can name the syllables or all together in chorus. You can arrange a competition: who can find and name the most words on the map with the sound [P].

Development of vocabulary and coherent speech The map is full of objects and objects. Ask your child to: - name them: turtle, cheese, ship. - make sentences with them: a turtle crawls along the shore. - name generalizing concepts: a turtle and a crab are animals.
